The following are leaf & bird motif cuckoo clocks that must be wound once a day and will run approximately 30 hours when fully wound.
The Anton Schneider 1 day, leaf & bird cuckoo clocks must be wound on a daily basis and each wind is good for approximately a 30 hour period. These cuckoo clocks use the German "Regula" #25 1 day cuckoo clock movement which is very reliable and service friendly.
Leaf & Bird cuckoo clocks are also known as a Traditional cuckoo clock and may or may not come with animated figurines as indicated respectively. Traditional or leaf & bird cuckoo clocks are measured from the very top-most part of the clock to the bottom-most part of the clock itself. It does not include the weights or pendulum which will hang down another 5.5" to 6" in the fully wound position.
All leaf & bird cuckoo clocks come with a manual night shut-off switch which is a standard Schneider feature on all cuckoo clocks with the exception of models #70/9HZ and #70/9PZ.
The chains are produced with a tarnish-proof material and a fully synthetic, low viscosity oil for long periods before re-oiling.
