The Anton Schneider 1 day cuckoo clock must be wound on a daily basis and each wind is good for approximately a 30 hour period. These cuckoo clocks use the German "Regula" #25 1 day cuckoo clock movement.
The Anton Schneider 8 day cuckoo clock must be wound only once per week. These cuckoo clocks use the German "Regula" #34, 8 day cuckoo clock movement. Both the 1 day and 8 Day Regula movements are very reliable and service friendly.
All hunter's cuckoo clocks come with a night shut-off switch as a lever on the left side of the cuckoo clock.
The chains are produced with a tarnish-proof material and a fully synthetic, low viscosity oil for long periods before re-oiling.
